We just wanted to clarify the status of our store. Merchandise will continue to be sold until the end of June. After that date, we will remain open as a service based store only. I have fond memories of kicking off my independent life at my first apartment by purchasing first necessities for my first home: an enormous personal computer from Dell and a small but fully featured computerized sewing machine from Steve's. The giant CPU and monitor and keyboard that came in the super sized cow patterned box are long gone and have been replaced 10 times over with smaller and more featured devices but my Bernina Activa 145 is still going strong as the OG sewing computer in my machine collection helping my daughter, a fine arts student in the city, complete her assignments. Steve's will always be a part of my sewing legacy and sewing life story. Best wishes in retirement!
Purchased several Janome sewing machines form the old KOP store but stopped going when the Janome line was dropped. More recently, bought several Baby Locks from Pottstown. Staff were always quite knowledgeable and let me actually try out new machines before purchase, Steve's has been a mainstay of the sewing community and will be missed by many. Enjoy your retirement!

I was so excited to find Steve's when I first got into quilting - it was so much easier to pick fabric and batting in-person, and your wonderful staff who are experts helped me with all of my questions! I saw this notification while I was eating my lunch. Talk about getting indigestion and heart failure! I love going to Steve' s so much!
